Re: My Harley Davidson themed TXT Build
I used to fill my spent extinguisher with alcohol or gasoline then pressurize with a compressor. Lotsa fun at a bonfire.

The way the flames shot up when the brake lines/fluid caught fire , I thought someone was spraying gas!

You might be able to mount that 3 1/2 inch extinguisher on the access panel between the seat backs. Not sure how much access you would have but the can size should fit in there fine.

Re: My Harley Davidson themed TXT Build
Very nice build! It sucks that your cart was almost toast. I mounted my extinguisher on the the seat back mount, its easy to get to in a hurry and, you dont wanna be reaching around the fire to get to it.
Before you go replacing parts make sure you fix the problem first, you don't wanna go frying new parts. |

Re: My Harley Davidson themed TXT Build
Good advice HotCat, I hope the motor guys can tell me what went wrong and how to prevent this from reoccurring in the future.
On the lights, I ended up changing the front marker lights with some dual element led lights. which made the flasher not work due to lack of load, so I had to get a LED flashed. I 'm happy with the end result, the new lights look different, they're cats eye led lights made for a motorcycle. |

Re: My Harley Davidson themed TXT Build
The last cart I built with the VIP dash, the customer wanted a fire extinguisher so we mounted it to the right of the VIP dash's "leg"

Re: My Harley Davidson themed TXT Build
My fire extinguisher came in today. I hope to have a chance this weekend to test fit it to see where I want it mounted. Still waiting to hear on my motor...brake lines should have shipped today. Hurry up and wait....again
