I also had my v2 wire go bad so ordered a new receptacle that said it would work with my charger... once I plugged it up and swapped it out with old one.the green light stays on at receptacle!!
Also cart wont do anything....
Un did the v2 resister and green light still is on!!
Nor will the cart charge either way..charger flashes red..
What else do I need to check.. bad receptacle maybe.. cause the green light shouldn't be on.... I got it from amazon btw

I tried a 10k ohm resistor, but it's only rated at 1/2 watt, which is the reason that it did not work.

I have another resistor that I have not tried yet (yellow one) in photo attached.

It came with an alltrax controller from years ago and I don't remember what the ratings were .. i think it's a 250ohm resistor.

Going to try and see if it works...

I answered my own question ...

The result of using the the yellow 250ohm resistor on the red and black wires within the gray sensor wire .. works like a charm, back charging and did not have to buy a new charge receptacle.

Just make sure you do not connect it to your batteries.. I took a photo to illustrate the gray sensor wire cut in half and exposing the red and black wire inside.

I'm baffled how that is working. Because your "yellow resistor" isnt even a resistor, it's a 4.7 microfarad capacitor! Two different types of device.

Good point - alternatively, I've got a few factory resistors off of a club car precedent stock solenoid - think i should use that instead or two of them together?

Hey, if it's currently working, leave it alone.
