Wheel wobble. New axle, hub, and wheel didn't fix
I'm broken and defeated. I bought a 1998 ezgo txt 36 volt a couple weeks ago. The rear driver side wheel has a significant up and down wobble that shakes the whole cart when driving. Initially I thought it was the rim/tire but a new one didn't fix it. Then I thought it was the hub, but a new one didn't fix it. Then last night I replaced the axle and bearing, but it didn't fix it. The passenger rear wheel bearing has a small amount of play that I plan on replacing tonight, but would that be enough to make the drivers side wheel wobble? I've read tons of posts trying to fix it. Bearing is properly seated, axle bolt torqued, lugnuts correctly tightened. Please help guys, this thing is kicking my ***.

Jack it up and with the rear wheel and hub off run the cart and see what is moving.

It's hard to see the movement in just the axle, but I can clearly see it at the hub even with the all new parts.

You should be able to take a fixed object and put it next to the axle to see if it moves.

Check the axle alignment. I replaced the leaf springs and one was misplaced, same symptoms. There is a hole on each side, where the leaf spring will seat, make sure its in there.

Leaf springs look to be right. The axle is the part that’s not running straight. Same with the new axle.

Re: Wheel wobble. New axle, hub, and wheel didn't fix
Is it possible that something in the differential could be causing the axle to move up and down while it spins?
