Who would have access to change the Speed Codes in the stock Curtis 1550-5201??
Dealer only?
Aftermarket?
Free App?

Does this Curtis have the ability to manipulate the Regen?

The cart runs 23-24mph w/3 adults, any idea what the Motor RPM Limit is set at?

Any hand held curtis controller can change the speed code as long as it is Dealer or OEM level 1-3 can be set, but 4 has to be bought from CC and is called a Private Code.

There is no aftermarket workaround for there SP4 setting.

And yes, the Regen has 3 settings they can set.

Does a speed magnet negate the need for a code?

It can, but not in this cart as it is an i2/Excel. Speed Magnets only work on IQ carts and not i2, Excels, etc.

And I do not like the speed magnets because you are just fooling the controller with the pulse counts and therefore forfeit all your regen capabilities of the cart. I like Regen as it helps on braking and inclines and while returning some of the energy back to the pack.

After looking in the CC Service Manual, it seems that the
"14286" is the Password used to place the vehicle in & out of
"Private Speed Mode" (Speed Code 4)?
