Default Not a political post but will Lithium go up soon

I see lithium Batteries from china going up by 20 percent soon after first of the year. The new administration is pro tariff. how can prices not go up. THis is not only batteries but a lot more. Not saying that bringing products to America is bad, but can see a lot of increases over next 6 months

As unstable as the world is becoming I can't see a continuing price decrease long term. The guy who makes the skunkworks batteries said his prices were getting ready to go up.

Demand for Lithium is going up which means it could become more expensive. I don't think politics are much of an issue for Lithium. That being said, Lithium battery costs have come down some over the past few years.

I disagree a bit. The politics of the day between tariffs and Musk being involved, such a strong chinese presence in the market, I worry that Lithium prices going up are a small issue compared to the politics of the day and could mean sharp increases next year.

With Four lithium golf carts right now i am debating buying a spare battery to have in case. The good news is that I have 2 from extreme team. One from ECO and one Cloud Energy and all are working great. THe one extreme team had a bad BMS but was given to me that way. Put in a and all has ben good
