Default Super quick charge

Now here's battery technology that would make a difference if it lives up to the hype...

I've only seen electric charging stations around Dallas,Tx near the Mall. How long does the current charging stations take? Just curious.

I don't know any more than I've read and each car is different but think they are just to put some charge back in while you shop (on the basis that any top-up is better than none). A full charge takes a few hours - so if you were shopping long enough it would do.

With lithium costing what it does. Can't see this being fesable for many years. Also read the comments and looks like it's already a couple of years in the making.

New battery technology is emerging . Soon lead acid and lithium will be replaced with more readily available cheaper alternatives. This video is not just a charging innovation but a battery type idea. Good stuff

Many years ago there was a charger called Turbo-Z- it could charge 4 golf carts in 90 minutes- never caught on for some reason.

To induce a voltage into a storage device which can then slowly discharge it I e battery, creates heat. And a lot of it. Guessing they need 40 of these things because the voltage of each cell is extremely small. Where as a LIPO has 3.7-4.2 volts per cell I'd bet these come in much lower.
