Default 2002 exgo Robin's 295 valve rocker has flat spots

I recently purchased a ezgo with the Robin's 295. And I'm currently rebuilding it and I found that the valve rockers have a few flat spots on each one of them and was wondering if anybody has come across this and is there a fix for it?

or can you resurface the rockers then polish them back up?

yes you could, but you can buy new ones on Ebay if they are that bad.

Have you put a mic to the cam?

Yea the cam lobes measured good but there was a small flat spot across cam right before the top of lobe but I had another good cam laying around. The rockers aren't horrible but each one has a some flat spots or chattering on each one but just wasn't sure if they were able to be resurfaced.

When I built my engine mine were the same way. I did clean mine up with a 1'' 3m pad on a die grinder and used them.
As long as they are smooth and not wore to much. I don't see any issues, these are low RPM engines and will not effect the valve lash in my opinion.

After my build I did have to set the lash about 3 times before everything stayed in spec.
