2001 EXGO Gas cart keeps running for a while after stopping

so this issue just popped up recently. cart was running fine and still does, but occasionally the motor will keep running after bringing the cart to a stop. it will even run with the key removed. It usually runs for about 10-20 seconds

any ideas?

Sounds like the solenoid is sticking.
