Default What’s Missing?

I picked up this gas txt for a whopping $40. It’s in pretty rough shape. I’ve had many electric txt’s but this is my first gasser. I can’t find any information in the normal spots to identify the year. I’m trying to decide if I want to fix or re-sale. When i charged the battery it does turn over. From the pics can anyone tell me what is missing besides the carburetor and air cleaner? Are there any missing brackets or linkage that I will need? Also can you identify engine so I get correct carb?

WOW you got a deal on that!!

Cant tell in the pic, but if the exhaust manifold is cast iron and unbolts from the head, its a pre MCI. If its aluminum then its a MCI engine.

Looks like an MCI engine and probably a 295 cc, look on the " plastic cowling plate " behind the carburetor mount and it should state whether it's a 295 or 350 (also look at the label on the timing cover as well). If the timing cover is a silver looking color it is an MCI.

Thanks for the advice guys, I’ll look in those locations tomorrow. I was told that it may have flooded. The oil doesn’t look like it has any water in it, I’m going to see if it is firing and check compression tomorrow.

Under water is not good. Good body anyway.

I can’t belive this was under all that dust and dirt. I’m guessing it’s a 295cc?

I found the serial number on the frame rail, it’s a 2005. The only bad rusted area is the battery pan. I found the part number is 70245-g01. I can’t seem to find it online for sale, so I sent an email to ezgo and am waiting for a reply. Is there anywhere else that may carry it?

This may be a stupid question, but where does the other end of this breather hose go?
