PB8 pedal box install.
Hey guys and gals... Im starting a late 90's club car ds build from a rolling chassis. Ive purchased an ac conversion kit from a reputable vendor to include mostly everything I need to convert. My setup will be, Navitas controller and 4k motor, upgraded solenoid, 48V HSKY KIT - LiFePO4 - 103Ah - 5.3kWh battery from big battery.
Im having a hard time grasping where inline the pb8 pedal box will actually go. My chassis did come with pedals, but not with anything underneath, the linkage mcor etc so I want to make sure I order the correct corresponding parts. Before creating this post, I did look on google and used the search feature on the forum, but couldn't find anything helpful enough to answer my questions. Thank you all in advance for any guidance. |

Re: PB8 pedal box install.
Your cart probably had a V-Glide speed control. It is a pie shaped control 5 or 6" high that mounted on two screws directly in front of the two center batteries. There is a linkage rod that connects the accelerator pedal to the V-Glide. In advanced search, look for V-Glide in the Club Car section. To install the PB-8, you will need the linkage rod and maybe some additional linkage swivels. David Hicks @ Revolution Golf Cars, site sponsor, can assist you in getting the parts you need to hook this up. https://www.buggiesgonewild.com/ads/...1531684222.jpg |

Re: PB8 pedal box install.
Does the brake release with the go pedal?
That cart did not come with anything to connect that pot box. You will have to come up with something to make it work. Just remember the brake releases from the go pedal. You will also have to make sure the output of that box (0-5k) matches what your controller needs. to BGW! |

Re: PB8 pedal box install.
Tom thank you so much for the reply. Ive seen in my searches the vglide system you're talking about. Will the PB-8 will totally replace the V-glide system?
I will reach out to Revolution first thing tomorrow morning and report back everything that I purchased. |
