Default Club car carryall rear brake assemblies

My 99 Gas Club Car Carryall II shows part #'s 1016573 and 1016557 for complete rear brake assemblies but I'm not having any luck finding those parts. Have those #'s been updated to something new?

My serial # starts with RG9917

Almost everything from that long ago has been superceded at this point due to manufacturing changes, so you would want to get in touch with a dealer to see what the new # should be. Good news is the parts are still exactly the same, so will bolt on no problem. Our site sponsor David at Revolution Golf Cars can probably check that for you if you send him an email or call with your part #s. He does much better prices than a local dealer on OE parts as well.

Generally you shouldn't need the entire assembly unless it's rusted out or otherwise damaged. Is there a specific reason you want or need the entire assembly? That would cover the backing plate, and the lever mechanism.
I'm not sure if the cluster includes the shoes, and springs, so you may need to also order those separate.

I'm going to add on here that I re did my carryall rear brakes (same as DS) that were on an EXTREMELY rusty cart. I normally hate drum brakes but these cart ones are pretty easy, and the only thing I really ended up replacing was the four bolts that bolt the assembly to my axle. set of pads are $26 on ebay.

quick search on ebay showing complete assemblies for 1995+ (not sure if that matters) are $100 a pair. just food for thought
