Yamaha G2: Problem with not staying charged long!
i have an older model g2, it has 6 brand new 6-volt batteries and cables, with a new motor, all of the batteries test good, and have the proper water. After full charge, the golf cart has about 10 minutes of driving before the cart goes dead, and it also slows WAY down when going up a hill, but i mainly would like help on the charge holding issue, Thanks for your help!

Re: Yamaha G2: Problem with not staying charged long!
I have a 1997 or so Yamaha. I used to leave it on the farm and chage it once or twice a year when I drove it. It went from miles on a charge to 1/2 mile or so. The batteries corrode inside when not kept fully charged. I brougt the cart home and keep it charged all the time, and found an add on out of Florida to reverse the "osmosis" or corroding of the batteries, and the cart goes miles again and is improving. Batteries can be different also, holding charges.
