tall gears
i ran into a fellow at the beach that told me the golf course model club cars had a taller gear (he said 10.5 :1 ) than the carts that are sold at the dealer. anyone ever heard of this??? the gentleman had a very nice hot rod and seemed very knowlegable.

Re: tall gears
I would seriously doubt this since Golf courses typically use slower carts than what the dealer would order for private customers. The standard gear set is 12:1 I believe. If anything, they would likely go to a 15:1 set for the courses for increased torque and slower speeds.....

Re: tall gears
I think the stock gears are 12.44-1, I would love a set of 10-1 gears, someone call club car and find out.
