Marathon questions
Hello all.
I just got this cart over the weekend. It's kind of a hack job but I'm ok with that I got it to do a motor swap and the price was right. I posted it in the lifted carts section and another member helped me identify it as a Ezgo Marathon. It has no original motor of any kind, I'm assuming the rear end a Dana I believe is original. It has some rusted supports and cross members that need repairing. I plan on removing the body and fixing all the rust and then doing a Motor swap. Is the automotive style rear end and a shaft driven 4wheler motor or a B&S vanguard and a golf cart differential a better and or more reliable option. Lastly is the front end basically it was just cut and extended I would like to do a nice LT tubular front suspension is there a weld in front end of any kind. |
