Default 2014 48 volt TXT surging with pedal down

Hello buggies gone wild. I am having an issue with a 2014 easy go txt. Brand new batteries fully charged when you press the pedal to the floor and hold it the cart will run full speed then without lifting on the pedal the car feels like it is slowing down and then it'll speed up again. Has anyone had an issue with these newer Carts yet?

OK I guess I am out of luck here. I will try speed sensor first and go from there.

Try monitoring the pack voltage while you drive.

The battery pack voltage drops quickly and considerably when a lot of amps are drawn from it and then recovers slowly as the motor RPM increases and fewer amps are drawn.

I get a similar effect with my cart when I do a jackrabbit start and keep the pedal on the floor.

When I measure my cart's top speed for bragging rights, I accelerate from a standstill at partial throttle until my motor is spinning above 2500RPM, which is about 10MPH with my final drive ratio.

Speed sensor fixed the issue. Has brand new Trojan T875 in it. Thank you for responding to my thread though.
