Re: 1993 Marathon 36volt cart - back up alarm
There is a double ms on the reverse side. one switch has 2 wires for the 1/2 spd reverse..... leave them alone. the other 1/2 of the double switch has 1 of the beeper wires going in and out of the switch. This is the part of the switch you are concerned with. Check with your meter if it is working .... if you need basic meter or troubleshooting help go here to see a quick video > http://www.cartsunlimited.net/troubleshooting-.html

Re: 1993 Marathon 36volt cart - back up alarm
So - I took the assembly out of the car and cleaned it out. I put everything back together just as it was and rechecked the wiring diagram. The alarm is functioning perfectly however the cart no longer moves forward or reverse. Any thoughts and to what happened?

Re: 1993 Marathon 36volt cart - back up alarm
Thank you!
I ordered the double pole micro switch - I thought this provided power to the controller , should I also be replacing the single pole switch? I am new to this whole thing. Thanks Again , Dennis |

Re: 1993 Marathon 36volt cart - back up alarm
Turned out to be a stuck Micro switch. It was the single Pole switch. It has been cleaned again and lubed. Working great now. Thanks again. I have begun stripping the cart down to repaint it now.
