2002 speed surge problem
I have little to no expirence when dealing with electric golf carts. We decided to purchase a 2002 txt model I believe. Came with brand new 6-6volt batteries and 1-12 volt. We are having problems once the cart attempts to speed up it basically dies like some one turned off the power. All connections seem clean and corrosion free. To me the 12v battery seems odd with all the smaller ones but it seems to be connected in the circuit just fine. Any help with trouble shooting would be great. Thank you.

Re: 2002 speed surge problem
well for starters, the 12v battery is there only to run any auxiliary loads like a radio, or some lights, that sort of thing. its not part of the electrical system that makes the cart move.
