The pedalswitch is not working.

Voltage source for pedalswitch is the solenoid's small terminal with three wires (plus diode) on it. The output of the pedalswitch goes to J1 Pin-5 when its contacts are closed.

All XCT varieties except the DCS version do need to have the speed limit set to get optimal performance, but the DCS never had a speed sensor, so the DCS version of the XCT has software that is optimized without it. In other words, it works roughly as the DCX family of Alltrax legacy controllers.

we deal with programming of a lot of variable drives and when we see a grayed out input we know we have to input that value

Next time you get an Alltrax XCT48xxx-DCS controller in, try to enter a value in the grayed out box.

JonnieB! Thank you so much. Thats exactly what it was. I have been going round and round and knew it was something simple. One of the wires from pedalswitch to the harness inside the 4 prong connector wasnt making good connection. bent it back in place and plugged back together and its all good! Thanks so much. Man i was about to pull out the last little bit of hair i had...

You're welcome.

Sounds like you got caught by the infamous inline connector from the pedal box.

That connector is in there to make the cart easier to assemble at the factory and has no operational purpose. Best thing to do with it is remove it.

Connect the 4 wires together with butt-splices or solder joints and waterproof either type with marine grade (adhesive filled) shrink tubing.

The information contained in the picture of the monitoring screen you posted narrowed it down to the pedalswitch circuit, but there's a lot more in that circuit than just the switch itself that could have been bad.
