Charging issues.
I have a 1999 ezgo txt that just recently started acting goofy. My headlights will get real bright and it feels like it loses some power and then the headlights dim and the power picks up. Anybody ever run into this and if so where do I begin to get it solved?

Re: Charging issues.
Sounds like it is overcharging . Connect a volt meter to battery and tell us what the dc volt reading is
Probably defective voltage regulator. Easy test |

Re: Charging issues.
I should’ve probably said this is a gas cart. Not sure if that will make a difference

Re: Charging issues.
I concur with Trig above, check the voltage at battery for possible bad regulator on that gas buggy. With it running of course

Re: Charging issues.
Thanks guys. Replaced the regulator and problem is solved. Now onto the next issue that I’ll question soon.
