82 ezgo wont start have spark fuel air help please

I have a 1982 EZGO 2 stroke running ran a while ago the guy I got it from said he took it in to get it serviced and it's never ran after it was serviced they quoted him a bunch of other parts I found the electrical wire drawing on the control switch to go forward and backwards somebody had mixed up one of the wires I got it running it ran good then died I put a new coil pack for the ignition have clean the carburetor 2 or 3 times installed new fuel and fuel filter will not fire up and run can crank and crank have gas on the other side spark plug gets wet got a brand new spark plug to swap back and forth help me I am lost

Check for spark first thing.

Ran good for how long before it died? Did it pop, or backfire?

It ran good for about 20 minutes or so it really was ripping around decently I come back and yes it popped and backfired as it pulled into the driveway and died it does have spark I'm just guessing maybe I'm not getting good enough Spark I tried another aftermarket coil pack to the spark plug still no change watch a spark at the plug have exhaust off cylinder looks good little bit of scoring on one side rings tlr8 can still feel them on your fingers not stuck

X2 on the crank seal.

Check your compression to make sure that you didn't blow your head gasket as well.

A crank seal you figure? Dang on the head side or you mean like the whole case seal

It seems to have compression sucks hard on the carb side and blows out good with spark plug out and the engine is laboured when spark plug is in how hard should it be to turn over by hand at the pulley

Here's a pic of a crank seal on the clutch side, there's another one on the flywheel side just like it

Oh okay so I dont need to pull the whole engine for it to be replace? I've never pulled a clutch off what's the tools needed if I dont have I'll pick up

Its firing here now today bangs and pops lol wasnts to start but yeah
