2020 Yamaha Drive 2 Lift Help!
New cart is in signature..
As my new cart troubles continue..... Is the overall cart height the same with a 6" spindle vs a 6" A Arm? The dealer installed a Jakes 6" spindle and the cart does not fit in my garage. They have now ordered a 6" All Sport A Arm lift to see if that would make it lower. I think 2" lower would work and 3" lower would be perfect. I know that Jakes & All Sport make a 3" spindle however I was really wanting an A Arm lift but no one makes one that is less than 6". Cart has rear independent suspension. |

Not a whole lot of help in the Yamaha forum huh? Sucks because I'm curious about lifts for Drive 2 EFI quiet tech myself.

Not too many of us drive brand new carts, that's probably why there's no responses. Most people ask about older carts, repairs, problems, etc. If you have questions about a brand new cart, I'd ask the dealer you got it from. They usually have service at the dealers and can point you in the right direction with aftermarket parts.

lots of info here on lifts. the other thing i'd say is to give Don Plowman a call. Between this forum, youtube, and plowman i have always been able to find anything i ever wanted/needed to know.

Re: 2020 Yamaha Drive 2 Lift Help!
Unless I’m looking at the wrong kit, the All Sports A-Arm lift changes the front from desirable coil overs to a leaf spring. It doesn’t look adjustable so you will prolly have around the same amount of lift as you have now with the spindle lift... If you only want 3” of lift you’re prolly just have to go with a spindle lift.

Re: 2020 Yamaha Drive 2 Lift Help!
I bought my 2016 gas G29 with a 3” spindle lift and like it. I’d actually prefer only a 2” but there isn’t one available.

I have a 2016 gas G29 on the way. Dealer is installing a few things. I sure hope mine comes with a Miller Lite like the one pictured above.

I hope yours does too lol... and I just realized OP asked the question back in June and then the thread was brought back up by others... making my response not so useful.
