Since I see a gap between the ramps on the spring seat, and the sliding sheave, it could be wrong. If your new spring had tangs that engage holes on the seat & sheave, its installed a little wrong.

It looks right to me. That gap disappears when you put load on it. It could be the preload is set one notch high on B3, but it still should work fine. Sometimes with new springs they have that gap in there until the spring breaks in.

Do this, park the cart in front of a tree or strap it down. Start the cart and warm it up, then put in in forward and watch ease into the throttle just until the clutch starts to engage. Watch that clutch to see if the gap disappears, I bet it does. If so, it should be good. Be sure not to rev the engine up during this process or you'll see the rear wheels spin etc. This is just a "momentary" test. Safety first!

I noticed the notches where the spring set but had no idea where it should be should I move it till it centers up ?

The tangs go in B & 3 on your model, and then you twist it toward the rear of the cart until you "clear the next available ramp" as you assemble it to put preload on it.

What if your spring has no tangs? Then it can have a gap. I do it all the time. Not all secondary springs have tang on them. Maybe this one does, and you guys might be right on this one.
