Default Fuel Pump Install - G9 Replacement

I am refurbishing a G9 in very poor condition. After installing a tune-up kit, the cart won't run and carburetor isn't getting fuel. Considering it is a cheap part to replace, I bought a new fuel pump. How do I tell the three "prongs" apart? My old fuel pump had arrows and so does the new one...

Which prong is fuel in?
Which prong is pulse?

The prong that would lead to the carburetor seems intuitive as it would be the "arrow out".

I am new to the forum and also new to refurbishing golf carts. I love DIY projects, but I have very little mechanical knowledge when it comes to cars / golf carts. Thanks for the help!

You can test it with a vacuum gauge, just hook it up to one port, put another in a fuel jug. I usually just hook it up the way the old one was. Some pumps are labeled, not sure if the factory pump is. I always use Briggs and Stratton pumps and I have their ports memorized. They can be purchased for less than $20.

Edit: It looks like you have the photo labeled correctly. If you hook it up wrong, it won't damage anything.

Thank you! I was able to get the pump working properly.

Still have a ton of other issues to fix, but that is the fun of it.
