Default G1 governer

I've got a 1989 G1. Previous owner unhooked the governer. Any body got a pic of how it should be hooked up?

Those carts scream without a governor. I have always been afraid to run my cart that way.

My 80 cart the shaft was snapped off and I had the cable routed directly to the carb and best it would muster was around 5,000 rpm, which isn’t all that high for a 2 stroke and one built with the same bottom end of the enticer 250 sled engine. The enticer topend seems to be a popular swap and I see no reason it wouldn’t hold up.Cases are the same and I believe the only difference in the crank is that the clutch side is longer

See that adjustment screw/bolt that pushes on the big thick spring...I put a longer bolt inplace of that short one...that loaded up the spring more holding the governor off longer...
