Zip Tie trick
Ok I did the zip tie trick on the transaxle. I worked great!!
Two ?`s though. Will this tear or wear out the motor real quick or over years of driving? Also I did not do the foot pedal rod. If I did this adjustment too, does it make even more of a diffrence? |

Re: Zip Tie trick
1) It won't wear out your engine prematurely unless:
a) You run WOT over 70% of the time, b) Run the engine over max RPM's and "float" the valves, c) or... you constantly hit the Rev Limiter! 2) The throttle linkage adjustment may give you an extra 1 or 2 MPH, And can be a noticable difference to a "seasoned" driver, But... I have read where a few people couldn't tell the difference! I did both to my cart (including disabling the limiter) 2 months after I bought my cart new! Although... I did set my max rpms at @ 4300, (FE350) and rarely run it at WOT for long periods! It's been that way for 2 years... and, it'll stay that way until I find a big block to suit my needs!
