Default Identification help needed

Hey guys i am new to this site nd this place is great. I just acquired an ezgo cart with no engine and am interested in starting work on it to get it lifted and going just looking for some help identifying what i have and also looking for thoughts and input on easiest and cheapest engine. The serial number is 283943 and manufacturers code is DO783. Any and all help is greatly appreciated thanks

The original engine was a robin 244 2 stroke. You will need to find a 2 stoke motor as the differential has no reverse gear selector. Reverse is achieved by running the 2 stroke motor backwards...

Thank you guys for all the help, any suggestions on where to start on this thing, i would like to get it running (nothing to wild) and lift it while staying within decent budget
