Dave do you have a picture of it in the back of your truck? I would love to be able to put my 97 txt in mine if I can make it happen. Keep me from having to buy a trailer. Also are what kind of ramps are you using.

Re: buying first cart for hunting club car or ez-go
The ramps I have are Ford factory ramps. I ordered those when I ordered the truck. The truck bed as a factory bead (see pic) that allows the factory ramps to "slide" in. I fab'ed up the ramp stops. Even though I winch my cart on and off for safety purposes, if I need to drive it up, the ramps will not slip out if too much throttle is given to the cart.
I installed (upgraded) the front with a Jakes 6" lift and in doing that the existing front wheels were to wide to clear the truck bed wheel wells. So I bought new front tires and wheels. Skinnier than what I had, but a more aggressive tread. That worked out much better. Now, I had a local company "bend and fab" up the boss mount on the front of my truck bed. A local body shop had to remove the bed in order to bolt this on the bed front. (An easy job for a body shop...I think that was $90 to have that done.) So, that's how I get the cart on and off. If I can't park the truck on a slight uphill for unloading, I leave the cart on and in reverse and "feather" the throttle with my hand while letting the winch down. These are the skinnier tires\wheels I swapped out This pic was taken when the truck was brand new....before I had the front "boss" installed And here's a close up pic of the "boss" I had fabricated and installed on the front of the truck bed I hope this helps! |
