From what I've been able to gather, the Delta Q chargers sold under the Delta Q label are okay, so I'm not sure why their chargers sold under the Powewise QE label aren't. Could be that the bean counters at EZGO got too deeply involved with reducing production costs when Delta Q was subcontracted to produce them.
There are probably thousands of PW-QE's out there since EZGO has been supplying them with their carts for several years, so the failure rate might not be all that high, but (again from what I've been able to gather) they aren't user repairable and EZGO dealers won't repair them, so if they fail, you have to buy a replacement charger. Chargers made by all the different manufactures can and do fail, but most are at least repairable by the manufacture and many by the end user. |

I am at a ezgo dealer, we can only get the cords and the AC board (which i have never seen fail), many of the DC boards are potted in (which doesnt matter if i cant buy it anyway).
