95 Electric Ezgo Txt No forward or Reverse

I have an older ezgo that I am having some trouble with. I had just replaced the batteries and was talking it for a test run and everything seemed fine. I stopped to check the wires to see if they were hot when I noticed there was a black wire that was not connected to anything. I figured maybe it had come loose in the ride and saw a spot on the forward/reverse switch that I thought it may go to. As I attempted to connect the wire it sparked the connection and the golf cart has not moved since. I turn the key on and nothing, no reverse alarm and no forward or reverse at all. You can see the burnt connection in the picture closest to the body of the golf cart. I figured I had blown a fuse but am unable to find a fuse anywhere. I'm hoping someone else has had this same experience and may be able to guide me in the right direction. I appreciate any and all your help.

Hello - Every wire on these F&R microswitches is (+) polarity. The black wire you found was likely the (-) for the reverse buzzer. THe fuse you may have popped is called a reed switch - located in the charge receptacle and easily bypassed without danger... Ezgo did away with this fused switch in later years. Hope this helps.
