Default this magnet- thats talked about here?

I have heard about this magnet, referred to few times being cracked ,etc. How does this benefit my CC. Need to know.. if its worth the trouble, before --(I mount a new speed sensor) to put it in .Also BTW where does it go. behind the sensor?Anything on this? thank you bob s

ps; do i need to put a little silicone or lubricant. on the new sensor so it goes in easier?.

My cart beeps and tries to stop itself, So I can see I need the magnet. Any benefit of me having the dealership flash it with a code and the magnet? Or just one or the other?

The magnet will disable regen braking as well as get your speed into the low 20s. Speed code 4 only gets you to 19.6 mph and you still have regen braking. The magnet is only $35, code 4 is typically $100 from a dealer.
What year and model is your cart? Here is the magnet David sells: http://www.revolutiongolfcars.com/#!...r%2C-iq-system

That's the ADC magnet, for anyone who sees this post, please confirm that you have the ADC motor before ordering. There are two motors with the IQ drive system. The GE and the ADC.
