G1 carb
I have a 1980 G1 rich on the low end pilot is set at 1 turn out.air filter is clean I found a new direct replacement carb and put it on. still seems rich running slow and starts best full throttle what am I missing

If it's an aftermarket carburetor you put on, take it off and go back to the oem one. Make sure no one has messed with the carb and tried to drill out jets or something stupid.
