Re: 2007 Club Car Precedent questions, first cart
The Q is IQ drive system. To me that's a good thing. Others will explain the differences.

Re: 2007 Club Car Precedent questions, first cart
205/50/10 is what is on the cart pictured below. They will work fine on any unmodified ezgo, clubcar or yammi. Depending on the brand of tire, they may actually be a slightly smaller diameter than the original 8" tires. You might want to consider a DOT rated tire vs the turf type tires that usually come pre-mounted on the 10" wheels. In my experience they will wear noticeably longer.
You can experiment with tire pressure to help with the ride. I find 20-22 psi gives the max speed and range. Any more just a stiffer ride and no speed benefit. Dropping to about 15 psi gives a little better ride. At the moment I am at 12 psi in the front and 20 psi in the back with DOT tires on a EZGO (very light in the front). You will find the "paved paths" are actually quite rough (tree roots). Battery prices are relatively cheap here compared to most of the country but still expensive. It would behove you to learn about their care and feeding. They can be ruined in less than a year or easily last 5 years or more. Here is a link to the path rules in case you were not aware: http://www.peachtree-city.org/Docume...Home/View/1187 Note that lights are not actually necessary unless you drive at night. Here is a link to Tyrone's golf cart ordinance: https://www.municode.com/library/ga/...odeId=CH36TRVE Scroll down to article III. It is basically a copy of Peachtree City's but I think you need a Tyrone permit (sticker) which is also valid in PtC. |

Good information to have and I apprecaite the feedback on the tires. I do run currently on our path system here in Tyrone and luckily for us a good portion of our paths have been recoated this spring/summer that have made for a smoother system. Once I get it back today or tomorrow I will look at the batteries and I am sure be asking for some feedback. |
