Default 88 club car

My brother and I just picked up a 88 club car from the maintence guy in our park. The guy said that he was going to scrap it and get 200.00. My brother and I told the guy that we would take it. got it for 150.00 with the charger. Its real dirty and needs batteries and brakes but we drove it home. I would like to start testing everything, Question is should I just wash it and sell it or put a little money in to make a little money. Is a 88 club car worth fixing? Just a little input from the pros would be helpful
