The fact that the solenoid "clicks" when the pedal is pushed shows that the activation circuit is good, that includes the pedal circuitry, which includes the switches that are on top of the F&R. Johnnie showed you the circuit path for the HIGH CURRENT part of the system. The fact that the solenoid activation circuit is good (little wires), as Johnnie mentioned, the issue you have IS in the High Current circuit (LARGE cables). It could be something as simple as a lose connection. As suggested, pit the cart on jack stands, this way you can test it and it can't/won't take off on you. I would start by doing the simple/easy things first. Start by removing/cleaning/reinstalling each and every large cable one at a time. this includes the connections on the motor and the battery pack. if it still doesn't move when you turn on the key and push the pedal, the next thing to suspect is the actual F&R switch. Place the cart in each mode (F & R) when placed in each mode, you should get continuity between each pair of contacts (large cabal lugs) depending on which mode its in. the fact that you aren't getting any movement in any direction now, I would tighten up the 9/16 nut in the center of the F&R to ensure you are making contact on all of the switch cam. then test each connection for continuity.

The F/R switch is about 4 months old but I understand it could go bad, just not sure what to check on it . Thanks !!
As KGSC mentioned, the solenoid is clicking, so all the small switches are working.

Attached is a drawing of a generic Series drive high-current circuit laid out in its simplest form. It is not for troubleshooting your cart since the components in your cart are in a slightly different sequence. Instead, it is to give you an idea of the simplicity of a series drive system. There is a single current path from the main positive terminal on the battery pack, through the solenoid's contacts, armature windings, F/R contacts, stator windings and speed controller back to the main negative terminal on the battery pack

In your cart, someplace in that single current path, there is an open cable, connection or contact.

When the solenoid is energized (clicked), every cable connection in the cart, except the one connected to the main negative battery pack terminal, will have full pack voltage on it. When you find one that doesn't, the problem is between that point and the point that does have voltage.

Thanks y'all for the help!!! It ended up being 2 things. First was the F/R switch!! One of the terminals, the main one from the controller had melted the plastic between end and nut and just wasn't getting full voltage across it. The other was in the red and green wire at 4 pin connector to pedal switch , loose connection. But one final question, can I purchase only the plastic board that everything the F/R switch is mounted on? I had to grind a washer and put under head of bolt to male flush with plate. Thanks again!!! Johnnie B the schematic was very very helpful!!! Thanks!!!
