Electric RXV lost top end speed
I bought a 2010 EZGO RXV a few months back. I had the dealer install new 6x 8V batteries, and 12" wheels with backlash tires. The controller was set to high speed, and when I first got it the top speed was around 24-25 MPH. Since, I can now only hit about 20-21 MPH. It's a noticeable drop in top speed and I'm not sure what may be the issue. If you have suggestions or things to check, please shoot them my way!
Today I checked the terminals, cleaned them, and tightened the wires. I tested the pack and it was reading 50.6V. I topped off the water in the cells. I checked tire air pressure, and everything was ok, around 24 PSI. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!! |

Re: Electric RXV lost top end speed
Ht I think the backlash tires are 21" so if it is in freedom mode it should hit low 20s.
You may want to check the voltage while driving and see what is going on. |
