48v club car moves then stops
approx. 1995 club car that I put a ignition switch in for a friend that broke a key in it,eversince I put the ignition in the cart goes forward moves a second and stops,same in reverse and rear buzzer works.batterys are 1 year old and I charged each one,once and awile the cart moves fast after sitting overnite.mostly faster in reverse,i put a speed sensor in that did not work,i put a remote car starter button across the solenoid no difference,can anyone help ? a simple fix turinng into a nightmare,checked all cables they are good cart is clean and garaged kept

Can you give us the serial number of the cart? That will tell us more about the drive system. |
