Before I'd rush off and buy new batteries I'd try to rule out having a bad charger or more likely a bad OBC. Does it drive normal after charging all night? Drive 4 or 5 miles to check it out, but stay close to the house. :)

You won't believe the difference it will make to have a fresh set of matched TROJANS or Crown or even U.S. Batteries. The cart will run better...use less water..charge quicker...and on and on.

23 months on Crowns with a DPI charger and have added ZERO water... Still 1/4" over plates. Think that next time home I'll find a turkey injector and add no more than a couple ounces water to each cell...

If the batteries are spent? I'll need to figure out the best way to get the better batteries.

The batteries started out at 50.5 volts. Run down to the donut shop about a mile away. Not a flat easy run, over curbs and through grass. Get back to the house and let the cart set for about 15 minutes and now the batteries read 50.3 volts. Not dead, but not like new.

Now that you say that. At work we have a guy that supply's us with all the batteries we need. I'll give them a call and see what they have.

Have you tried measuring them individually? You might find one that is bad.

High is 8.46 and low is 8.38 between the 6. The two outside batteries of the pack being the best. I don't use my cart all the time but when I do use it. I don't need to crap out on me. I think I'll take it to work and let the yard hands run it all day and see how the batteries hold up.
