Re: 89 club car DS gas
That cart came stock with a KF82 flathead, is that the motor under warranty? Just curious if it has the stock motor in it.

Re: 89 club car DS gas
That body is the newer plastic body (1993+). That 1989 cart came originally with a fiberglass body. The fiberglass body was sturdier, but the plastic body can be just as sturdy as long as the steel skeleton bracket is inside the front edge of the main body (on the inside of the front panel that holds the shifter). If the plastic body is installed without the steel skeleton bracket, the body can flex under weight, and it could affect that nice paint job.
Here's what the bracket looks like. If he doesn't have it, you can use it to bump the price down, as I don't think it's available for sale anywhere, you might need/want to make one. It's #13 in this diagram: |

Re: 89 club car DS gas
I'm still a newbie when it comes to golf carts but I just went through weeks of searching before I found one at a reasonable price. Around here, $1,300 for a running club car with a good body would be near impossible to find. I'd say that would be a good buy at that price.

Re: 89 club car DS gas
Yeah I agree with BuggieMaverick. From here that looks like a really good deal for $1300.
