Default 98 Carryall VI Will Not Rev up At all, Idles perfect

Hello All,''

I have a 98 Carryall VI, Key start... I just put a new motor ( 350 ) and rebuilt the trans-axle.. Got it all back together... Set the governor and went to go for a ride and the cart will not rev past idle.. When I hit the pedal to the floor the cart does not rev above idle at all...

Quick question..

1) The new motor was manufactured in 2013 my old motor was a 98.. I am using my old rev limiter from the 98 motor ( 350 ) , Would this cause this situation?

Thanks guys,

Ant....

put a spark tester on it and see if the spark goes away, but I betcha its a fuel issue....chunk of something blocking the main jet but the pilot jet is clear

I have adjusted the governor per the manual 10 times now, thinking it could be that.. I don't think it is the governor anymore.. I am just unsure of the rev limiter.. I don't know if that could have something to do with it or not...
I agree with you on a fuel issue.. It definitely sounds like its not getting fuel.. I am going to check all the fuel lines and make sure everything is clear...

Thanks,

Ant..

All fuel lines are clear,

Fuel flows from tank to carb with no issues....
Oil level is slight below full mark on dip stick. ( I always leave it right below full mark )
It has to be in carb or rev limiter...

Any other thoughts b-4 i pull the carb off...

Thanks,

Ant...

I would take ground off rev limiter and just try it.

Can you get hold of the throttle lever on the carb. Does moving it not rev engine?

I disconnected it bye taking off the wht /blk wire, wouldn't that be the same thing as disconnecting the ground???

Man, This thing is driving me nuts ..

2 full days at this sucker now.. Ok, I am going to disconnect the ground from the rev limiter as member RED 92CC GAS suggested, If it does not change anything, Then I am going to get in the carb...

Would like to say thank you to all of you for trying to help me here.
Much Appreciated..

Thanks again,

Ant...
