Seat Cleaner?
What to use on seats to remove mold and Mildew? Car sits outside a lot. Tried mr.clean magic eraser and that cleaned back seat up good but did not work on front back rests.

Re: Seat Cleaner?
Mix up bleach and water, spray it on and leave it dry in the sun (at least on white GC seats, and stock bodies). Another good one is tilex style shower cleaner, it will eat the mold off vinyl no problem but fumes are nasty as they are in the shower lol.

Re: Seat Cleaner?
As a megayacht captain, we are often in front of this trouble...
1. Bleach and water; good, but in your case, can attract animals to pee... 2. Vinegar and water; perhaps the best 3. Borax; not really "human friendly" especially if you have kids Specialized products for ships are very expensive and not really better. In any case, 3M products are almost always the best! |

Re: Seat Cleaner?
We use a product called Awesome or Simply Awesome. It will make everything white again. We use it in our boat also.

Re: Seat Cleaner?
We use a common Brillo pad with soap found in any grocery store. I believe the steel wool is filled with comet - use a spray hose.
Lay the seat on ground or saw horses - spray with water and scrub the top layer of grime and sun damage off the thick vinyl seats. Works wonders on WHITE golf cart bodies too. |

Re: Seat Cleaner?
LA's Totally Awesome generally found in your local Dollar Store does indeed work *** good and it is CHEAP too... Not so cheap but even better cleaner is Amazing from Bio-Kleen... Both are considered safe to seat stitching which can be harmed by bleach like products...

Re: Seat Cleaner?
If for some reason my seats get away from me with mold while in storage I use Clorox Clean-UP Cleaner+Bleach. It does a great job and then I follow up with 303 Aerospace Protectant and cleaner. If the job isn’t too bad the 303 does a good job on touchups. I also use these products on my RV with good results. Good Luck.
