I never charged for what I did, I charged for what I knew how to do.

I'd put a little anti-seize on the new splines. Makes pulling the motor easier next time.
Hope it's not rusted on. $200 would have been money well spent for the one I did

If I could have gotten $80 pick up & delivery, I may still be in the service business

Either way enjoy the 36v motor in 48v system upgrade. Did you send that motor out for a clean up, a new bearing, and brushes first? Don't want to waste the install time and money.
I havent scotty, who do you recommend?

all good tips, I got caught up today so I haven't tackled it yet. It is not the original motor in the cart now, its a high speed motor in it now. No torque at all though, so maybe it will pop off easy if it was installed sort of recently. I have had the cart for about 3 years don't know about prior owner though.

Well I got impatient and decided I can tackle this thing so I did. I started about 2:40 and was finished cleaning up by 4:30 and on the golf course by 5:00 to test it out on 9 holes . I tried jacking it up but couldn't get comfortable so I took off the rear body. Longest part of the job was the stripped screw on the FnR switch I had to drill it out. Other than that, the motor only required about 5-10 mins of wiggling before it popped off. Really is an easy job. Saved myself $200 and couldn't be happier.

Cart has so much more torque now and really didn't loose much speed once it gets going. Biggest thing is cart gets up and down all hills pushing the heavy bentley front body with ease now.
