Club Car Idle Question
I can't seem to get the search menu to stay up while I type on my phone. So Im sorry if a thread has been made on this before.
But I did the idle mod today. The cart will idle great now. But my problem is, that when I turn the key from on to off the cart will not shut off. I have to flip it to neutral for it to shut off. What do I need to do different? Thanks! |

Welcome to BGW mpylant!
Moved to CC gas, and a courtesy bump. For the idle mod... did you just remove the black wire from the bottom microswitch in the electrical components box? 020_1.jpg tap or click>>> http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/gas-c...dle-setup.html |

Re: Club Car Idle Question
At first I did what a Youtube video said, which was to remove the black wire inside the box and then the white wire on the switch on the cart behind the shifter.
After that didn't work I came across this website and seen your mod. So I hooked everything back up the way it was and then did it the way you said. The cart will idle great now. But the key will not turn it off. I have to move the shifter from F or R to N for the motor to shut off. |

Re: Club Car Idle Question
Being that the black wire on the bottom micro is tough to get at...
it could be possible that 1 of the 2 white w/black stripe wires might have been broken from the spade connector, one of them goes the key switch to ground the engine kill circuit! |
