At a loss
I have a club car ds converted to 48v using a fsip 700 0-5k . I sold the cart to a buddy and it has ran great for years. He called me up because it took a crap, long story short I haven't messed with carts since I sold this one. I diagnosed and thought it was a controller issue so ordered a new fsip 0-5k 500 amp. Cart to still won't run, m- to b+ pack voltage when solenoid clicks but won't drop. M- to b- 0 volts on click but doesn't move with throttle. Potentiometer is reading a perfect 0-5k sweep. Someone please chime in and tell me what I'm missing.

Re: At a loss
Update, pulled the motor and two of the wires were melted off the brushes.

Re: At a loss
That's why I will never sell any type of vehicle to a friend or family member.
It's all good for several years, then the vehicle breaks down, and it's suddenly "you sold me a piece of junk" It happened once in my life....never again. |
