Default Alltrax controller for club car

I have gotten numerous throttle maps from alltrax to help fix the mcor response. The only problem I have now is the cart only goes 11-12 up hill and 13-14 on flat ground. I have been told this cart should go up to 17-18 with the red liable stock club car motor. Anyone have some advise to why I'm not getting the speed? It has the field map 6, is that correct? Thanks

My first thought is what condition are your batteries in?

The old DCX controller and the wacky MCOR never did play nice together. Seems the even a good MCOR 5k-0 signal is closer to 1000 - 6000. The Best results I got was from a little resistor trick Sergio drew up. I believe it may have been a 20,000 Ω resistor that went inline and reduced the signal range to something very close to 5k-0 which the DCX could read properly.

Dando151, I think You are confusing motor Field map with Throttle mapping.

I don't know the correct motor Field Map for Your motor, but as far as the throttle, I had created the graph below to show how the resistor modification affects the throttle curve.

It basically gives you a better pedal resolution at the low end of the curve:

I also found this old sketch for modifying the harness instead of making an adapter.

It's the MCOR and
the old DCX controller is not helping much.
This is a bad combination but it can be made much better with with a new MCOR4 and the throttle correction shown in previous posts.

It already has the mcor 4, and have tried numerous field maps from alltrax. Starts out riding fine but then starts to act up??

What's the serial number for your cart? I know we assume you have an Alltrax DCX controller, but you never confirmed that. Let's learn a little more about what you've got and we can try to help you.

Yes it's a 300 dcx alltrax, model is 7h0309. 2003 club car ds IQ. Batteries are fine, if a take turbo off cart only goes 12. With turbo on cart goes 14 and down hill 21. But it has no pick up with a slight incline. Thanks
