Re: Can anybody help with club car hooking up an alltrax controller?
Houston, we have a problem. And an easy solution.
Can you download the software to your laptop and connect to the controller with a printer cable (usb 1>usb2) The toolkit software is here > http://www.alltraxinc.com/Products_SR.html The toolkit manual is here > http://www.alltraxinc.com/files/Doc1...kit-Manual.pdf Please change ONLY the throttle type setting to 0-5v. Then hit the gray 'set' tab and wait for the now blue tab to turn back to gray again before closing the program. It does appear I had a program error and did not 'set' my selection. |

Re: Can anybody help with club car hooking up an alltrax controller?
I will do that....but an important question? how many volts should be going through the ignition switch to the accelerator pedal...reason I ask is if it is a 0-5v pedal...what should we have going to it?

Re: Can anybody help with club car hooking up an alltrax controller?
It looks like Scottyb is using a solid state throttle like the "HXJS-4805" Hall-effect unit.
They use a power source of 36v-80v (red wire) but produce a 0-5v output (green wire). Just make sure You connect the wires according to his diagram. |

Re: Can anybody help with club car hooking up an alltrax controller?
I apologize for the trouble I caused here. Today I found the glitch in my saved program which changed the throttle type when I loaded the fancy curve.
Glad you were such a good sport about it all - there is always a learning curve with a new kit. |
