It could be a bad battery- but kinda rare.

If the battery goes dead in 2 days just sitting you should be able to find it pretty easy.

Easy test to see if it's battery or you have a "draw" pull ground cable off and touch it back on negative post if you see a spark have a draw if not it's probably battery..may want to do this test in a dark garage

What precisely do you mean "remove ground and battery jump from 80% to 100%?"
What could be drawing that much current with everything off? IDK.

However, I have installed a new battery in a Club Car gas cart only to have weird things happen. Was a bad battery. Returned, replaced 3 times from same supplier. Was a bad batch of 12v batteries. If you bought the battery from a major retailer, take it back to a DIFFERENT location and exchange it. Troubleshoot from there.

If you have a volt meter, set it to dc amps. Disconnect the hot side of any major component that pulls power one at a time and jump the hot side through the meter and take a reading. That will tell you where the draw is. It can be a little time consuming but surefire. I would start with the rectifier. It should either have a built in diode (can go bad and cause draw) to prevent back feed while not running or it will be routed through the keyed switch.
