Look in the Clone or Big Block section.

An FE290 to an FE400 should be a direct swap as long as you have a complete 400,
BUT... if your talking about your 94, it has a counterclockwise transaxle,
and it may be VERY difficult to locate a counterclockwise FE400!
so, I'll agree with HBR... your 94 would be a good candidate for a clone, or a big block!

94 is the good rear. The backwards stuff started in 97.

Do the big block kit from Vegas Carts it's your best easiest to install option.

Chris - I have a 94 DS setup like yours and thinking about doing the Vegas 460 and HD clutch? How do you like it? How is the low and top end? I have the 290 now so anything would be an improvement but really like the ease of the install and reviews on the VC engines/clutches.

I just put in the VC 625 from a 290. The swap is super easy plus you get everything you need including the clutches. It fired right and it rips. I feel it was a excellent value.

Wow.. Did not even see that option. The same price so no brainer. I performed the zip tie trick and it rolls at 23mph with pedal left. I am running 23" tires with the jacks a-arm 6" and HD rear springs. Setup is solid and now I have the speed I want. Will probably wait a bit on the 625, but will def do it sometime this year. Thanks Guys!
