2017 Precedent replacement seats/covers?
I bought a 2017 precedent and would like to change the seats from Beige to Black. From what I am reading it doesn't look like you can just recover them after 2011. Do I need to purchase complete new seats? Can someone point me in the right direction. I was planning on getting a Madjax G300 back seat in black but need the car seats also.

Has anyone covered one of these seats? The back support is just a piece of foam with the vinyl cover glued to it and screwed to plastic cover. How do you change just the vinyl? Any recommendations? I do not want Beige seats.

I recently went thru the same thing and believe it or not, you staple the new covers over the old covers and also cover the plastic back that they are attached to

You staple it on the plastic clam-shell itself, do not separate the foam from it.
This is the place I got mine, many other members bought from them as well, this video will give you a better idea. I also purchased a pneumatic staple gun and 3/8" stainless steel staples (T-50 style). |
