Re: 1996 Club Car winter project
Here are my build details. Started with a 1996 club car I purchased at an auction last spring. Was smoking pretty bad at the time and knew it probably needed rings. So first task was to pull stock FE290 motor and put new piston, rings and gaskets in it along with crankshaft bearings. Fixed all smoking issues and runs great now. Over the last 2 months completed the next part of the project. Pulled off body and painted it with a single stage urethane automotive paint. Then came the Jakes 4” A-Arm lift, heavy duty rear springs and Evader 10 x 7 wheels. Saraha Classic 22x11.00-10 tires and a GTW premium LED light kit. Very happy with the outcome for my 1st build. Would be glad to answer any questions that anyone has about my build. I have dozens of pics I took at every step of the build if anyone would like to see something in particular. Thank you.
