93 ezgo with spark on only 1 cylinder
A little background.
93 ezgo 4 cycle. Has run great. Last weekend the power dropped to next to nothing. Determined that I was only getting spark on 1 cylinder. I didn't know if one side of a coil could go bad, so I replaced it with a new one. After installation of the new coil the cart ran great again. Spark on both cylinders. New plugs, and new wires that came with the coil. After about 15 min of running, the power dropped again. Tested spark on each cylinder and again, only sparking on 1, but this time it was the opposite cylinder than the original problem. so my questions 1. can 1 side of a coil go bad (apologies if this is a stupid question) 2. what else could cause spark only on 1 cylinder after running great with new coil. 3. Any advice? |

does anyone know what resistance I should get across the coil? I'm trying to confirm its bad.
